We are shortly moving here (from Dorset) in December/January (exact date TBC shortly)

Accomodation; large double room, with some shared use of family bathroom with daughter at times

Home; 3 bed house with garden & little back paddock adjoining, where hope to possibly keep pet chickens, & further space for outdoor play. House is situated in friendly village setting, picturesque neighbour farmers fields backing onto the home for great walks and nature from the homes garden back gate. So semi rural but with also great amenities 10minutes away. Good gym/sports amenities, shops, transport links. Supermarkets, restaurants. And great child related activity centres, play groups, classes nearby.

Suitability of candidate;
- The love of outdoors, animals, (daughter being brought up with love of nature, the outdoors etc)
- An interest / or experience in helping prepare & cook good healthy nutritious foods for child. (Mum currently does but looking for someone to help out, making some healthy nutrient rich snacks/meals for child. Don’t need be chef by any means, just an interest, motivated, and proactive with it.
- engaging in age appropriate activities that promote development and learning.
- Light housekeeping for daughter
- A driver (valid driving licence) ideally, but not a deal breaker. (Car might be able organised if right candidate has drivers licence / no car)
- Eligibility / right to work in the UK
- enhanced DBS
- First aid ( can be organised if need refresher)
- legitimate references that can be followed up showing employment history
- a physically active candidate with good health
- a calm, easy going, upbeat, motivated and proactive approach
- a professional approach to privacy and discretion

Daughter is happy, easy going toddler who loves to laugh and learn new things. Currently into arts crafts, going to parks/out in nature, sing rhyme classes, swimming, books, free play.
Mum hopes to encourage daughter trying lots of activities/life skills. Anything from dance classes, forest school, skiing/snowboarding, horse riding, martial arts, different cultures, and creative activities etc. Someone with interest in some of these would be great, not essential.
But who aids to guide, encourage, instil an outgoing, inquisitive, confident positive approach to life.

Ideally looking less than full time hrs, though can be flexible for right candidate if they are seeking that.
- Ideally some morning hrs, some later in day hrs, few nights babysitting a month. Possibility to swap week day hrs for weekend hrs if preferred. hrs can be flexible/negotiated for right candidate.
- Possibility to travel couple times yr, 1-2wks a time with whilst mother works part time while abroad.

Rate of pay;
Negotiable on candidates experience/resume/hrs etc

Solo parent family (mother)
Nearly 2 yr old daughter
( 2 large dogs (don’t free roam the house-have their own area gated off and stay in that area) but candidate should be comfortable that they are there. They are friendly, sleep a lot, do not overly bark and will be exercised by mother.

This would be collaborative role as mum is home based. Which worked well with previous & first candidate had (who welcomed this as it worked so well). So although mum is around to help out, equally happy to leave candidate to their activities.

Mum (me) late thirties. Daughter 2 in January. Is a really happy character which I’m blessed with. Good sleeper and eater. We’re an easy going household and like to hope for a mutual respectful positive friendly atmosphere in someone who joins us. Working as a team. So my daughter see’s the candidate joining us as part of her extended home life. Someone perhaps as an auntie figure than an employee.
