A friendly, down to earth family on the beautiful island of Guernsey are looking for someone to help with the care of two outgoing toddlers Girl age 18 months and Boy age 3. There are also two older children, both girls aged 12 and 16 who do not require childcare. The family has a soppy Labrador and affectionate Bengal cat so a pet friendly person is needed.
The role will be a mix of caring for the 18 month old girl and her brother when he’s not at pre-school (he does mornings Mon to Fri) and assisting in the running of the household. It will be a mix of shared and sole charge. Taking the children to activities such as the park, beach or soft play.
Household duties to include preparing & clearing up after children's meals, light housework and laundry, tidying, emptying dishwasher, recycling, vacuuming, organising children's rooms, toys and belongings, household errands and food shopping. Feeding the dog and taking her out to the garden. Nursery/school runs might also be required over time.
The 18 month old will go to nursery 3 mornings a week from January 2020. A cleaning company gives the house regular deep cleans. Mum is returning to work and help is needed for the smooth running of the household and childcare.
The house is literally seconds away from the beach and coastal walks. This is a unique and rare opportunity to experience life on Guernsey with plenty of time to enjoy the laid back pace of life, wonderful scenery and friendly community.
