A lovely opportunity for an experienced 24-Hour Maternity Nurse in Maida Vale, London, supporting a family with their newborn baby boy following a planned Caesarean section.

Job Summary
A returning Eden family in Maida Vale are looking for a warm, experienced and easy-going Maternity Nurse to support them during the first six weeks following the arrival of their second baby. The family would love someone attentive and knowledgeable who can confidently manage the baby's care, establish age-appropriate routines and support bottle feeding. Mum would like to remain closely involved and spend plenty of time with her newborn, so the ideal candidate will be flexible, respectful of family life and sensitive to Mum's recovery following her Caesarean section. The family have a three-year-old son and an existing nanny, who will eventually take over the baby's care. A friendly, collaborative approach is therefore important, particularly when sharing nursery duties and ensuring a smooth handover. The family live in a third-floor apartment, so candidates should be mindful that the position involves regularly navigating several flights of stairs.

Job Specification
• Provide attentive 24-hour newborn care.
• Manage bottle feeding, settling and daily routines.
• Establish gentle, age-appropriate sleep habits.
• Support Mum's recovery by providing practical newborn care.
• Undertake baby-related laundry, cleaning and nursery duties.
• Work collaboratively with the family's existing nanny.
• Ensure a smooth transition of baby's care at the end of the booking.
