A warm and professional family is looking for a caring, engaging and experienced sole charge nanny to look after two children aged 2.5 years and 8 months.
The hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:45am–6:45pm, and Friday, 8am–6pm.
The role will involve managing the children's daily routines, taking the eldest child to and from pre-school, bottle-feeding the baby, supporting their weaning journey and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for both children.
The family is looking for someone who enjoys getting out and about with the children, attending local groups, classes and activities, as well as creating fun and stimulating experiences at home. Encouraging learning through play, creative activities, reading books and supporting their development in language, fine and gross motor skills will be an important part of the role. Helping the children develop curiosity, confidence and independence through age-appropriate activities is also key.
The role will include nursery duties, keeping the children's areas tidy, managing their laundry and ensuring everything is organised.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for both babies and toddlers and be warm, nurturing, reliable and genuinely passionate about early years development. Someone proactive, creative and enthusiastic, who is confident managing two young children independently in a sole charge position, would be well suited to the role.
The nanny should also be happy to occasionally travel within the UK with the family and be comfortable working alongside other family members who may sometimes be present during visits.
