Job Summary
A private family in Ascot are seeking a highly experienced, professional and discreet Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their first baby by planned Caesarean section.
The family are looking for a knowledgeable and self-assured professional who can provide exceptional newborn care, offer considered guidance and confidently support them through the early weeks of parenthood. A medical background would be advantageous, although extensive maternity nursing experience and excellent newborn knowledge are equally valued. The ideal candidate will have a calm, mature and respectful approach, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries while adapting to the family's preferences regarding feeding, routines and general baby care. This is a ten-week booking, working on a seven-day-on, seven-day-off rota, and the family place a high value on privacy and confidentiality.

Job Specification
• Provide exceptional 24-hour care for a newborn.
• Support feeding, settling and age-appropriate routines.
• Offer knowledgeable, considered guidance to first-time parents.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, safety and newborn care standards.
• Manage all nursery duties and baby-related responsibilities.
• Work professionally and discreetly within a private household.
• Ensure clear communication and continuity of care between rota handovers.
