ASAP Live-Out Nanny – Tel Aviv, Israel – G6 months
Expat British family who have recently relocated to Tel Aviv seek an experienced, native or fluent Hebrew-speaking nanny for baby girl 6mths.
The family live in one of Tel Aviv’s most fashionable and sought-after neighbourhoods, a particularly attractive area for families with a strong outdoor lifestyle, excellent local amenities and children’s activities, and approximately 10 minutes from the beach. This is a live-out position working Sunday to Thursday, 8.00am–5.30pm, with the nanny taking full responsibility for the baby during the working day.
The family are looking for a warm, capable and proactive nanny with good infant experience who will provide an interesting and stimulating routine as their daughter develops. The nanny will organise age-appropriate developmental activities, daily walks and visits to the park, research and attend suitable local baby classes and arrange meet-ups with other nannies and babies to encourage plenty of social interaction.
All nursery duties will be required, including keeping the baby’s nursery, clothes and belongings organised and ensuring that everyday essentials such as nappies and other supplies are kept well stocked. The nanny will prepare all meals for the baby as she transitions onto solids and should be confident introducing a healthy and varied diet appropriate to her stage of development.
The family have a miniature dachshund and a cat, so somebody who is genuinely pet friendly is essential. The nanny should be happy to take the dachshund on short walks when out with the baby.
The family travel internationally several times a year, principally to the UK and Europe, and would like their nanny to accompany them, so flexibility to travel is important.
The parents are British and are keen for Hebrew to be spoken naturally around their daughter as she grows. Native or fluent Hebrew is therefore essential, together with a good working knowledge of English to enable easy communication with the parents.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an experienced infant nanny who is proactive, sociable and confident planning her charge’s week independently while providing warm, attentive and developmentally focused care.
