* Days & Hours:
* Nanny-Housekeeper: Monday to Wednesday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; Thursday and Friday, 7:00 am – 12:00/1:00 pm (approximately 46–48 hours per week).
* Nanny-Only: Monday to Wednesday, split shifts from 7:00 am – 10:30 am and 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm, followed by half days on Thursday and Friday. The family is also open to offering full days Monday to Wednesday for the right candidate (approximately 34–36 hours per week on the split-shift schedule).

* Salary:
* Nanny-Housekeeper: £48,000–£55,000 gross per annum (£20–£22 gross per hour)
* Nanny-Only: £35,000–£41,200 gross per annum (£20–£22 gross per hour), depending on agreed hours
* Driver: Essential. The family can provide a car.
* Pets: One small, friendly dog, mostly kept in the garden. No pet care required.

Overview

The family is looking for someone confident managing two active young children, who enjoys organising fun activities, encouraging their development and keeping them engaged throughout the day. Previous experience caring for two young boys of similar ages would be particularly desirable.
Both children attend nursery full-time from Monday to Wednesday. The eldest also attends nursery on Thursdays and Fridays. The nanny will be responsible for nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, with the eldest child's nursery located approximately 30 minutes away by car. A confident driver is essential, and the family can provide a car for work-related journeys.
The family is ideally looking for a Nanny-Housekeeper who can provide childcare alongside general household support, including family meal preparation, laundry, cleaning and keeping the home tidy and organised.

However, they are also open to considering a nanny-only arrangement. This could involve split shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 7:00 am to 10:30 am and 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm, covering the children's morning routines, nursery drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups and evening care. Alternatively, the family would be happy to consider full days from Monday to Wednesday for the right candidate. Thursdays and Fridays would be shorter days, finishing around 12:00 or 1:00 pm.

Duties

Childcare: Managing the children's morning routines, preparing breakfast and getting them ready for nursery, completing nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing healthy meals and snacks, organising age-appropriate activities and outings, encouraging learning through play, supporting developmental milestones, arranging playdates and outdoor activities, and maintaining consistent routines. The nanny will also be responsible for the children's laundry, keeping their bedrooms and play areas tidy, and organising their belongings.
Housekeeping (for the Nanny-Housekeeper position): General household cleaning and tidying, family laundry and ironing, preparing healthy meals for the family, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, changing bed linen, maintaining household organisation and assisting with everyday tasks to ensure the home runs smoothly.

Skills and Other Requirements

* Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional childcare experience.
* Age-Group Experience: Strong experience caring for babies and toddlers, ideally two young boys of similar ages.
* Language: Fluent English.
* Driver: Essential. Must be a confident driver; the family can provide a car.
* Personal Qualities: Warm, energetic, proactive, organised, reliable and confident managing two young children independently.
* Housekeeping: For the Nanny-Housekeeper position, previous experience with general household cleaning, laundry and family cooking is desirable.
