Hours: 24-hour live-in cover, 5 days per week, Monday 8.00 am to Saturday 8.00 am.

Job Overview:
A family based in Kensington, W8, is seeking a highly experienced, qualified and professional Live-in Baby Nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby, commencing January 2027.

The family are looking for a warm, nurturing and proactive Nanny with excellent knowledge of infant development and early education. The successful candidate will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care, encouraging early learning, independence and developmental milestones through engaging, stimulating activities and play.

Preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious homemade meals for the baby is an important part of the role, alongside maintaining consistent routines and supporting the baby's overall wellbeing.

This is a fully staffed household, so an excellent team player who is comfortable working collaboratively with other household staff is essential. The role also involves European travel with the family, and there are two Chihuahuas in the home.

Responsibilities
Providing attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for the 8-month-old baby.
Establishing and maintaining consistent feeding, sleeping and daily routines.
Planning stimulating, educational and age-appropriate activities to encourage physical, cognitive and emotional development.
Supporting developmental milestones through sensory play, reading, music and interactive learning.
Preparing fresh, nutritious homemade meals and supporting the baby's weaning and developing dietary needs.
Maintaining excellent hygiene and organisation of the baby's nursery, belongings and feeding equipment.
Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing as the baby develops.
Working collaboratively with other household staff to maintain a smooth and consistent daily routine.
Accompanying the family on European trips and ensuring continuity of care whilst travelling.

Ideal Nanny:
Fully qualified Nanny with extensive experience caring for babies of a similar age.
Excellent knowledge of infant development, early education, weaning and age-appropriate activities.
Demonstrable longevity in previous positions, supported by excellent, checkable references.
Confident preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for babies and young children.
Warm, nurturing, engaging and genuinely passionate about early childhood development.
Proactive, organised and confident taking initiative whilst respecting established routines.
An excellent team player, comfortable working within a fully staffed household.
Professional, discreet, reliable and adaptable.
Willing and able to travel within Europe with the family.
Comfortable working in a household with two Chihuahuas.
