An eight-week Nightly Maternity Nurse role in Queen's Park, London, supporting a family with their second newborn baby, offering expert feeding guidance and a gentle, structured approach to establishing healthy sleep habits.

Job Summary
A lovely returning Eden family based in Queen's Park are looking for an experienced and nurturing Nightly Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their second baby, due in early June 2027. Having enjoyed a wonderful experience with their previous maternity nurse, the family are hoping to find someone equally warm, knowledgeable and reassuring. Mum is planning to breastfeed initially, with the intention of introducing one bottle overnight. The family would welcome someone with excellent feeding knowledge who can provide practical guidance and help establish a gentle, age-appropriate routine as baby settles into life at home. The booking is for eight weeks, working five nights per week. Hours will initially be 7.00pm–7.00am for the first few weeks, reducing to 9.00pm–7.00am thereafter. The family also have a little boy, currently 22 months old, and a small dog.

Job Specification
• Provide attentive overnight care for the newborn.
• Support breastfeeding and the introduction of an overnight bottle.
• Offer knowledgeable feeding guidance and practical reassurance.
• Establish gentle, age-appropriate sleep and feeding routines.
• Manage winding, changing and settling throughout the night.
• Support Mum with overnight feeds as required.
• Maintain a calm, nurturing environment.
• Undertake all baby-related duties during working hours.

Candidate Specification
• Highly experienced Nightly Maternity Nurse with excellent newborn knowledge.
• Strong breastfeeding and bottle-feeding experience.
• Confident establishing gentle, age-appropriate routines.
• Warm, calm and reassuring in approach.
• Flexible and responsive to baby's individual needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Professional, reliable and discreet.
• Comfortable working in a household with a small dog.
