A family in Queens Park are looking for a nanny-housekeeper to care for their two daughters, aged 4 and 2, from January. The role combines childcare with housekeeping. On Mondays and Tuesdays there are extra hours for household duties while the girls are at school and nursery.

They’re looking for someone warm, reliable and organised, who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in keeping a family home running smoothly. School and nursery are both within walking distance, so no driving is needed.

For the right person, the family would also consider a nanny-only role without the housekeeping. This would be 31 hours a week: Monday & Tuesday 15:00 – 18:30, Wednesday & Thursday 08:00 – 18:00, and Friday 08:00 – 12:00

Duties
On Mondays and Tuesdays, the nanny will spend the earlier part of the day on housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry and general household tasks. They’ll then collect both girls from school and nursery and manage their afternoon and evening routine.

Wednesdays and Thursdays are full days caring for the youngest, with school pick-up for the eldest. This includes planning age-appropriate activities and outings, getting outdoors, managing naps and meals, and supporting her development through play. On Fridays, the nanny will help with the children in the morning while mum works from home. This may occasionally run a little longer.

The role includes all standard nanny duties, such as preparing healthy meals for the children, keeping their laundry up to date and keeping their spaces and belongings organised.

Skills & requirements
* Experience: Minimum 5 years’ childcare experience, ideally including toddlers
* Housekeeping: Previous housekeeping experience (not needed for a nanny-only role)
* Languages: Fluent English
* Other must-haves: Flexible with occasional extra time on Fridays, excellent references, valid DBS and First Aid (or willing to obtain)
