Experienced part time Nanny Required for 1 Newborn in central London. 4 hrs a day + 1 overnight weekly

Location: Either Islington or Hampstead (looking to move house to one of those areas so will be confirmed closer to time)
Start date: May 2027
Experience required: Minimum 3 years of nanny experience including newborn care

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our baby. We are seeking a kind patient nanny who has extensive experience with newborns and is confident providing both daytime and overnight care.

We would love to find someone who is caring, attentive, trustworthy and passionate about supporting a baby’s development, comfort and wellbeing.

Working Hours (can be negotiated if we find the right person)

Monday: 12pm–4pm
Tuesday: 12pm–4pm
Wednesday: 10pm–9am (overnight)
Thursday: Day off
Friday: 12pm–4pm
Saturday: Day off
Sunday: Day off

The Wednesday overnight shift involves actively caring for the baby throughout the night, including night feeds, changing nappies, settling the baby and responding to their needs. This is an awake, hands-on overnight position rather than a sleep-in role.

Responsibilities

Daytime care

* Providing attentive, nurturing care for our baby.
* Preparing and giving feeds, including bottle feeds.
* Changing nappies and maintaining good hygiene.
* Supporting the baby’s sleep routine and settling them for naps.
* Monitoring the baby’s general wellbeing and development.
* Taking the baby for walks and providing age-appropriate stimulation as appropriate.
* Keeping the baby’s bottles, feeding equipment, clothes and nursery tidy, occasional laundry for baby clothes

Overnight care

* Providing attentive, hands-on care throughout the night.
* Preparing and giving night feeds.
* Changing nappies and settling the baby back to sleep.
