Full-time nanny – Belsize Park / Primrose Hill – January 2027 start

We're a friendly, appreciative Irish family in Belsize Park / Primrose Hill looking for a warm, experienced and reliable live-out nanny to join us full-time from January.

THE CHILDREN
- Our daughter (3) attends preschool from 8:30am to 2pm. She loves reading, drawing and playing in the garden.
- Our son turns one in November and will be with you during the day. He's a smiley, relaxed little boy.

THE ROLE
- Sole charge of our son: play, outings, classes, naps, meals and age-appropriate developmental activities
- Preschool drop-off and pick-up for our daughter, then caring for both children together in the afternoon
- Preparing healthy meals for the children, plus batch cooking
- Keeping the kitchen and play areas clean and tidy, and the children's laundry

HOURS AND FLEXIBILITY
- 40 to 50 guaranteed hours per week, Monday to Friday, number of guaranteed hours to be agreed with the right candidate. Your salary is guaranteed whatever the week brings.
- My work schedule varies. Occasionally we'll need you until 6:30pm, likely once a week at most on average, and we'll always confirm these the week before. Other days will finish earlier. Any hours beyond your guaranteed hours are paid as extra.
- My husband and I both have flexible work, so on days one of us is home, we'll often take one or both children out for an activity, and you'll focus on cooking and keeping the children's spaces in order.
- If you'd like, a shorter day can sometimes be balanced with an evening's babysitting within your guaranteed hours. This is always by agreement, never assumed.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
- Paid babysitting available if you'd like extra hours
- The opportunity to join us on family holidays if you'd enjoy it: paid, with travel and accommodation covered and time off while away

PAY AND BENEFITS
- £21–£23 gross per hour, depending on experience, paid through payroll with workplace pension
- 5.6 weeks' paid holiday, including bank holidays, with dates split between family and nanny choice

ABOUT YOU
- At least 5 years' nanny experience, including with babies and toddlers, with references we can speak to directly
- Current paediatric first aid certificate and enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
- Ofsted registered, or willing to register
- Non-smoker
- Enjoys cooking, is organised, and likes a varied week
- Right to work in the UK
