Live-in Nanny / Family Assistant – North West London

£55,000–£59,000 gross per year | Permanent | Private accommodation

We are a family with four children under 10 looking for an exceptional, warm and highly reliable Live-in Nanny / Family Assistant to become a long-term part of our household.

Hours

Monday–Thursday: 8am–8pm
Friday: 10am–10pm
Saturday & Sunday: Off

60 hours per week.

Our children are the first priority. The role includes school/nursery drop-offs and collections, driving to activities, helping with children’s routines, preparing healthy meals for the children, children’s laundry and bedrooms, and keeping school bags, uniforms, activities and children’s schedules organised.

During school hours, we would like someone proactive who helps keep family life running smoothly. This includes cooking, laundry, shopping/errands, tidying and household organisation, together with some general housekeeping.

We already employ a cleaner, so you will work alongside them and this is not a sole-housekeeper position.

Driving is essential. You must be a confident and safe UK driver and comfortable doing school runs and taking children to activities.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Naturally organised and tidy
• A confident family cook
• Comfortable working collaboratively with another household employee
• A confident driver
• Looking for a stable, genuinely long-term position

Longevity with previous families is particularly important to us. We value candidates who have built long-term relationships with their previous employers rather than having a succession of short placements.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Excellent independently verifiable references and an appropriate DBS check will be required.

Package: £55,000–£59,000 gross per annum depending on experience, plus private live-in accommodation, paid holiday and pension. There is flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
