A professional, organised and energetic live in Manny or Nanny is sought for a busy medical professional father to take sole charge of his son, who is approaching his 13th birthday.

The ideal candidate will be sporty, active, creative and engaging, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children of this age. Someone who can encourage a variety of sporting activities, share interests and introduce new ideas while providing the structure, consistency and guidance that are so important during these early teenage years.

The father works full-time at a hospital and requires a highly trustworthy, organised and dependable individual who can take responsibility for his son's day-to-day needs, ensuring everything runs smoothly around his school commitments and busy family life.

The father takes his son to school each morning on his way to the hospital, with the Manny/Nanny responsible for school collection at approximately 4.30pm. The father generally returns home between 6pm and 7pm.

Responsibilities will include preparing healthy meals, managing the boy's laundry, looking after his sports kits and ensuring that school uniforms, sports equipment and everything required for the following day are organised and ready. The candidate should also take a proactive approach to managing his wardrobe, keeping track of clothing, school uniforms and sportswear as he grows and identifying when replacements are needed.

A flexible, practical and resourceful approach is essential, together with the ability to anticipate the family's needs and work independently. The father would particularly welcome someone who is naturally organised, takes pride in maintaining high standards and can establish a warm, respectful and trusting relationship with his son. A confident driver is essential, while Spanish would be an advantage. There are no pets in the household and the family is seeking someone available for an ASAP start.
