Nanny
Shape two young children's early years on a four-day week.
Job Summary
Live-in nanny roles usually mean sharing the family home. Here, a self-contained cottage in the garden gives you your own front door and real privacy at the end of a long day. Living out works equally well for local candidates. Either way, you take sole charge of two children, aged 2 years and 4 months, in a family home in Woodham, Surrey.
The core week runs Monday to Thursday, 7.45am to 7.45pm, 48 hours in total. Four long days earn a full-time salary and leave the rest of the week your own. If you would like more hours, Friday is available from 9am to around 6 or 7pm, and occasional babysitting and overtime are paid on top.
Both parents work in London, occasionally from home, so you run each day in sole charge.
A cleaner and gardener look after the wider home, which keeps your time on the children. A car is provided for nanny duties, covering local clubs, appointments and errands now and school runs as the eldest grows. Family travel is occasional, once or twice a year at most.
