Support Worker / Family and Domestic Support

Pay: £23–£24 gross per hour, depending on experience (up to £24,960 gross per annum)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am–10:00 am, 20 hours per week

We are seeking a responsible, reliable and adaptable Support Worker to assist a lovely family with three young children. The father has cerebral palsy and requires support with his morning routine.

You will assist him with getting up, personal care, dressing and preparing for work. He typically leaves at around 8:00 am. For the remainder of the shift, you will help with domestic tasks, including general tidying, loading or unloading the dishwasher, and laundry.

Tasks will vary from day to day, so the ideal candidate will bring a practical, flexible approach and be happy to lend a hand where needed. They will be attentive to the family’s routines, comfortable working independently, and respectful of the family’s privacy.

There may be an opportunity to start a few days earlier to allow for a smooth handover with the current Support Worker, who has been with the family for many years.
