J22CE4 - Fixed Term Contract Night Nurse
Location: DE65 - South Derbyshire
Start date: Between the 15th and 18th of October 2026 ideally
End date/Duration: To be confirmed exactly, but until end of December 2026.
Days and Hours: 9pm to 7am, 5 nights a week
Salary: £22 to £25 gross per hour
Child's age: 6 months old twins
Pets: None
Accommodation: There's a room available if the person wants to stay during the week
Driver: Must - to reach their location

This family is looking for a sweet, caring, and highly experienced Newborn care specialist to join them from mid october 2026, to work at night.

Sleep Coaching: Applying gentle sleep-training methods to promote self-soothing and overnight sleep. (they are already in a good routine and sleep through the night mostly)
Night Feeds: Handling night feeds (formula or pumped milk) or supporting planned night-weaning.
Comfort & Diapering: Managing night waking, diaper changes, and teething support.
Safe Sleep: Monitoring crib safety, room temperature, and safe positioning while sleeping.

Maintenance & Morning Handover:
Detailed Logging: Recording exact feed times, sleep durations, and waking patterns.
Sterilization & Prep: Washing and sterilizing all overnight bottles, pump parts, and utensils.
Light house-chores help: laundry for the babies and toddler
Morning Debrief: Presenting a complete night summary to parents and other maternity nurses for a smooth morning transition.

There's a 3 years old in the house. The ideal candidate will be willing to come and leave for each shifts but that is to be discussed.
