A young, friendly family based in West Bridgford are looking for an experienced and caring Nanny to become a valued and trusted part of their household.

The family currently have a 3 year-old and are expecting their second baby in May 2027. With no family living locally, they are looking for someone dependable who will become a trusted and supportive presence within family life.

Hours:
Ideally:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 10am–7pm

Wednesday & Friday: 3pm–7pm

There is some flexibility around the days and hours, and the family would potentially consider switching one weekday for a Saturday.

The successful candidate will be happy working alongside a parent but will also be confident taking sole charge of their little boy. He attends a nearby nursery, so the role will involve nursery pick-ups, activities, trips to the park and getting out and about locally, as well as fun and engaging play at home.

Before nursery collection, the family would appreciate some practical support around the home, including nursery duties and housekeeping. A Nanny who enjoys cooking and is confident preparing simple, healthy family meals would be particularly valued.

Support around the new baby

The family are looking for someone who can offer flexibility and additional support around the birth to help care for their little boy.

Following the baby’s arrival, the Nanny will play an important role in helping the family settle into life with their new baby. This may include taking the eldest child out for activities, giving the parents some quiet time with the baby, or helping with the baby so that the parents can enjoy time with their older child, or indeed going out.

They are looking for someone with a hands-on, proactive approach who is happy to notice what needs doing and get involved where needed.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys being part of a close-knit family and would take pride in building a trusting relationship with both the children and parents. This role will be for ay least 3 years.

The family are looking to secure their perfect candidate as soon as therefore they will be very proactive in interviewing candidates even though the position does not start till next year.
