Job Summary:
A lovely family of three are looking for a warm, experienced and confident Live in Nanny to care for their 2.5 year old daughter and 4 year old son. This is a long term opportunity for a nanny who would enjoy building a genuine bond with the children and becoming a valued part of family life.

Mum runs her own business in the entertainment and leisure industry, which can sometimes involve working evenings and weekends. The family have a relaxed and free-spirited approach to parenting and are looking for someone who is gentle, warm and nurturing, but also firm and fair when setting boundaries.

Their 2.5 year old daughter is very outgoing, confident and full of personality. She loves painting nails, dressing up, dolls, rabbits and creative activities.

Their 4 year old son has recently started school and is doing very well. He is the youngest in his year and very bright, so the family would particularly value someone who can support him through his Reception journey. He enjoys Lego and reading and is a little quieter than his sister.

As the children are in nursery during the week, the hours will be 6:30am to 9am, start again at 3:15pm. Two later evenings per week, including Saturday, plus one additional weekday evening

The home is located close to good transport links. The family also employ a housekeeper who works 3 days per week.

Candidate specification:
• Has experience with children of a similar age
• Is looking for a long term position
• Is warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys engaging with children
• Has a gentle but confident approach to boundaries and discipline
• Enjoys creative activities and being outdoors
• Can support early years learning and reading
• Is a confident driver with a clean licence – an automatic car is provided
• Is comfortable with some evening and weekend work
• Would enjoy becoming part of the family

Accommodation: Own spacious bedroom (very private) and use of bathroom (shared with children) – TV, storage and desk

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
