Experienced Live Out Baby Nanny Needed

A social, happy baby born in June 2026 is seeking a playful, kind, and experienced nanny.

Vital requirements:
EU or Dutch residence permit
Strong preference for a Danish-speaking nanny, but will consider English-speaking candidates
Professional experience caring for children of the same age.

Location: Oud West Amsterdam, a short walk from Vondelpark.
Days: Any three weekdays (open to discussing four days).
Daily hours: Nine hours per day starting at 8 or 9 am (can consider eight hours). Possibility for occasional extra hours.
Start Date: 4th or 11th January (for the right candidate, they can consider someone starting later in January).
Commitment & contract length: Seeking a nanny for a minimum of 12 - 18 months (initial contract will be 7 months).

Responsibilities and duties:
Provide attentive, responsive care to children at all times
Researching, planning, and taking the baby to a variety of classes (baby swimming, etc), activities, children's play cafes, etc
Provide an engaging and stimulating environment
Take the baby out and about for walks
Support developmental milestones and be confident about the baby's milestones
Help with weaning and meal preparation for the baby
Child-related housekeeping (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, dishes, occasional errands, etc.)
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s needs and progress
Someone happy to support them with the baby’s routine/rhythym
Happy to support her with contact naps.

Experience, qualifications, approach, and skills:
Minimum of three years' childcare experience, including extensive experience and knowledge caring for babies
Extremely reliable and happy to be flexible if needed
Outgoing, nurturing, and proactive
A nanny happy to provide the baby with a screen-free environment and who is also conscious of their phone usage.

Additional Details:
Travel: Unlikely, but helpful if you are open to travel (not a requirement)
The family has a friendly Golden Retriever; if you are happy to walk him, that's appreciated but not a requirement
They have a cleaner once a week
The apartment is on the 3rd floor
Both parents work from home (in an office on the floor above the family area)
Interviews and trials are happening ASAP; the family would like to have the placement confirmed by the end of November
Live-out accommodation is not provided
Non-smoking position
The family is happy to discuss an employment contract or home services scheme (for a four-day week placement, the nanny will be employed).
