Live Out Nanny Who Loves To Travel

A proactive, fun, professional nanny is needed to care for twin toddlers who are 22 months old. The boys have a great sense of humour, are active, and are keen to explore.
The toddlers attend daycare four days a week from 9 - 3.30 pm (it's possible the daycare schedule might change and they spend more days at home with the nanny).
It's vital that you are happy to travel as much as needed. Travel will often be from Thursday to Sunday, although some flexibility will be needed. Someone who loves adventures and can quickly adapt to new environments is needed. You will have your own room when you travel, and trips are often planned in advance.

Schedule:
Wednesday: 5 - 10 pm
Thursday: 5 - 10 pm
Friday: 5 - 10 pm
Saturday: 7 - 5 pm or 7 - 6 pm or 7 - 7 pm
Sunday: 7 - 5 pm or 7 - 6 pm or 7 - 7 pm.
The nanny can choose if they prefer 10, 11, or 12 hours on the weekend days.
These hours are tentative; they will be discussed during the interview. Flexibility for extra hours, including proxy parenting, will be needed.

Vital requirements:
EU or Dutch residence permit

Start Date: ASAP
Commitment & contract length: Until February 2027; the family will speak with the nanny before February and discuss if there is an opportunity to extend

Responsibilities and duties:
All child-related duties, including providing attentive care to the boys, laundry, dishes, packing for trips, etc
Someone really creative who will research the local area, especially when you travel, and find fun activities for the boys
Someone knowledgeable about child development who is keen to encourage all areas of the boys' development
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
Maintain the boys' schedules and routines
Tidy up after yourself and the boys
Communicate regularly with parents and other nannies regarding children’s needs and progress
Travel with the family on a consistent and regular basis.
Experience, qualifications, approach, and skills:
Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience, including nanny experience
Someone who enjoys being healthy and active will be a good fit
Experience caring for children of similar ages
A problem solver
Someone who genuinely cares about their job and is eager to go above and beyond
Happy to manage daily routines while supporting and encouraging milestones
Collaborating with the parents is key; this will include working alongside them, sharing your ideas, and following their ideas.

Additional Details:
This role is both sole charge and shared care with parents. They will be in and out; it's important you are happy with the parents being hands-on and around. They are very welcoming and keen to build a strong relationship with the nanny
