A lovely family who have relocated from London to Madrid are looking for an experienced, professional full-time nanny to join their family. They have two children: a 3 month old baby boy and a 2 year-old girl who attends nursery Monday to Friday, 9am–4:30pm.
The main focus during the day will be caring for the baby, although the nanny must be confident caring for both children together when required. The family are open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement. The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom with a private entrance in Madrid. The family are looking for someone who will become part of their team. Both parents are hands-on and want to remain actively involved in their children’s lives, so they are seeking a nanny who works collaboratively, uses their initiative and is happy to muck in. The ideal candidate will be a bright, warm, bubbly and energetic professional nanny who genuinely loves working with children. The Nanny should be confident setting boundaries, managing tantrums calmly and positively, and creating a balance of structure, learning and fun. The family are looking for someone who takes pride in their role while also having their own interests and life outside of work.
The family travel regularly, particularly during July and August, including to the South of France, London and Gloucestershire. The nanny will travel with the family, with normal working hours applying. Occasionally, both parents may travel at the same time, requiring proxy parenting, although grandparents will also be available for additional support. Cooking will primarily be for the children, although cooking for the whole family would be a bonus. A housekeeper will be employed, so there is no deep cleaning required, but the nanny will liaise with them and help oversee the household as it relates to the children.
Allergies: 3 month old has a cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA) and must avoid all dairy products.
Accommodation: Private room & ensuite with separate entrance. (Largest room in the apartment)
