Key Details:
- Location — Chelsea, London.
- Hours — Approx. 40 hours/week, roughly 10/11am - 7pm. There is flexibility on exact start time for the right person - this role is about the person, not a rigid schedule.
- Salary — Circa £45,000 gross annual (market rate).
- Household — Three children (girls, aged 5, 6 and 9), with a fourth baby due end of December. Mum is at home full-time; Dad travels for work at times.

Position Overview:
A wonderful family in Chelsea with a stay at home mum and three daughters (fourth child on the way) is looking for a reliable, highly organised Housekeeper to take the lead on running their home, with some light after-school support for the children built in - when mum is busy taking one of the kids to an activity for example. This is primarily a housekeeping role - the family is separately planning to bring on a Nanny from December/January, once their fourth child arrives, and the two roles will need to work closely together as a genuine team with a can-do attitude. Dad travels for work so mum needs a lovely team to support her once their fourth child arrives.
The family previously had a fantastic, kind and discreet housekeeper who they were very happy with but sadly she relocated back to her home country. They're now looking for someone kind, assertive and genuinely proactive - someone who takes initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and general household organisation and upkeep
- Taking initiative on household tasks and systems, rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Some after-school support for the children - this is a secondary part of the role, with housekeeping as the clear priority
- Flexibility to occasionally stay home with one child when a sibling has an after-school activity
- Working closely as a team with the family's incoming Nanny (from Dec/Jan), covering handover and overlap smoothly
- General flexibility to support the family - for example, being available for an evening if Mum wants to go out with friends

Candidate Requirements:
- Reliable, trustworthy, and highly organised
- Assertive and proactive - genuinely takes initiative rather than needing to be micromanaged
- Discreet and used to working within a private family home
- Comfortable with some flexibility around hours and occasional evening availability
- Happy to work closely alongside another member of staff (the incoming Nanny) as a coordinated team
- Genuinely good with children, even though this isn't the primary function of the role
