An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Live-in Nanny Housekeeper to join a warm, welcoming family based in beautiful Snarøya, Norway.
This long-term position offers a rewarding combination of childcare and household support within a well-organised family home. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the daily routines and development of three school-aged children (11, 7, and 5 years old), while helping ensure the household operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the children's daily routines, including morning and afternoon support
Prepare school bags, lunches, snacks, and other essentials for the school day
Support homework, educational activities, and age-appropriate development
Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children
Provide additional support during school holidays, illness, or when required
Assist with occasional evening babysitting and family support as needed
Accompany the family on 2-3 trips per year when required
Maintain high standards of household organisation and presentation
Manage family laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation, and seasonal clothing rotation
Keep children's bedrooms, play areas, and shared family spaces tidy and organised
Coordinate with external cleaning contractors to ensure household standards are maintained
Assist with meal preparation and simple family cooking
Manage grocery shopping, household supplies, and restocking
Run household errands and provide practical day-to-day support
Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel
Take a proactive approach to identifying and completing household tasks independently
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a Nanny/Housekeeper, or similar private household role
Experience caring for multiple children, particularly school-aged children
Fluent English communication skills
Confident swimmer
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently
Reliable, discreet, trustworthy, and professional
Genuine passion for working with children and supporting family life
Comfortable balancing childcare and housekeeping responsibilities
Able to integrate into a family environment while maintaining professional boundaries
Open to occasional travel and schedule flexibility
EU Passport holder
