This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join a large private household in Nottingham, offering the flexibility of live-in or live-out accommodation and a varied role combining housekeeping, household management and family cooking.

Summary
A private family based in Nottingham are looking for an experienced and flexible Housekeeper to join their household on a permanent basis.

The main property is a five-bedroom home arranged over three floors, with excellent facilities including a gym and swimming pool.

The family are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the smooth running of the household, maintaining high standards while also managing contractors, household staff and deliveries.
Cooking is an important part of the position, with the successful candidate preparing meals for the family and children.

The father has his children staying with him at the property several days each week, so the successful candidate should be comfortable and confident working around children.

The role can be either live-in or live-out. For those wishing to live in, excellent accommodation is available in a separate vacant four-bedroom property next door.

Job Specification
Full housekeeping and maintaining a high standard throughout the property
Laundry, ironing and general tidying
Organising external laundry/cleaning services where required
Cooking meals for the family and children
Following recipes and preparing a variety of family meals
Managing household contractors and tradespeople
Coordinating deliveries and accepting parcels
Managing and liaising with household staff
Coordinating gardeners across both properties
Liaising with pool maintenance staff and other service providers
Household management and ensuring the property runs smoothly
Flexibility to respond to changing household requirements
Supporting the family when the children are staying at the property
Candidate Specification
Previous experience working as a Housekeeper in a private household
Strong housekeeping and organisational skills
Good cooking skills and enthusiasm for preparing family meals
Confidence following recipes and adapting meals for children
A flexible and proactive approach
A warm and child-friendly personality
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work independently and take initiative
Driver with full driving licence and own car (preferred)
