This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join a lovely family in Kensington, offering excellent private accommodation within their brand-new home and a long-term position with a welcoming household.

Summary
A lovely family based in Kensington are looking for an experienced and friendly Live-in Housekeeper to join their household as they move into a beautiful new home in October.

The family currently have two young girls, aged 4 and nearly 2, with a baby boy due in November. They are also looking to employ a nanny, so this is primarily a housekeeping position, with around 0% housekeeping and 20% childcare support.

The successful candidate should genuinely enjoy housekeeping and be happy for this to be the focus of the role. Childcare will mainly be occasional support.

The family will also employ a nanny, and Mum works from home regularly, so there will be plenty of support within the household.

The family are currently living in their existing property and will be moving into the new Kensington home around the end of September / beginning of October. The candidate will initially be live-out for approximately the first six weeks before moving into the accommodation.

The live-in accommodation is within the brand-new Kensington property and is located on the lower ground floor, offering excellent privacy and independence.

Job Specification
General housekeeping and maintaining the home to a high standard
Laundry and ironing
Making beds and keeping bedrooms and living areas tidy
Helping tidy after breakfast and assisting with the morning routine when required
Helping with dinner routines
Running household errands
Occasional school pick-ups
Occasional childcare support
Babysitting approximately two evenings per week, with the candidate able to go to bed at their normal time while keeping a monitor nearby
Helping with general household organisation
Keeping the garden and outdoor areas tidy, including sweeping leaves

Experienced in private household housekeeping
Primarily interested in a housekeeping-led role
Calm, friendly and bubbly in personality
Comfortable working alongside a nanny and a parent who is regularly at home
Happy to provide occasional childcare support
Organised, proactive and reliable
