Description: A family based in the Southampton/New Forest area, with plans to relocate to North Devon next year, is seeking an experienced, warm, and highly proactive Live in Nanny/ Light Housekeeper for a stable, long term position starting ahead of their first baby girl's arrival at the end of November. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional newborn and infant care with light household duties, such as laundry and organising, when childcare permits. During the initial months, the role will heavily focus on overnight newborn care and night feeds, with daytime schedule flexibility to ensure proper rest, before gradually transitioning into a traditional daytime routine as the baby grows. A full driving licence, willingness to travel internationally to the family’s residences in Portugal and Spain, Paediatric First Aid, an Enhanced DBS, and verifiable references from previous private household positions are essential.

Childcare Duties: Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for the infant.
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the baby when required.
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the baby.
Engaging the baby in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park as she grows up.
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the baby.
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the baby's structure and development.

Housekeeping Duties: General day to day running of the home when childcare duties allow. This could include laundry, tidying and organising, keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy

Cooking Duties: Just for the baby.
