Professional Live-in Nanny — Regent’s Park

Role Overview
A professional family based in Regent’s Park is seeking a highly experienced, warm and nurturing live-in nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby. The role will begin in mid-October, taking over from the maternity nurse, and is intended to be a long-term position for someone who is confident, committed and genuinely passionate about caring for babies and young children.
The Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for an emotionally mature, discreet and approachable nanny who can read the room, understand people well and work sensitively within a formal household environment. You must have strong, recent experience with babies of this age and a sound understanding of baby and child development. A native English speaker is preferred to support the baby’s language development, and an EU passport would be advantageous due to the family’s international travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing full care for one baby aged 4 months.
• Establishing and maintaining a consistent, age-appropriate routine.
• Supporting all areas of the baby’s development, including physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
• Engaging warmly with the baby through talking, singing, play and age-appropriate activities to encourage early language skills.
• Managing all nursery duties and child-related tasks.
• Supporting the family through key developmental stages, including weaning and, later, potty training.
• Travelling internationally with the family as required.
• Working collaboratively with other household staff and maintaining excellent communication within the team.
Working Hours and Accommodation
Monday to Friday, 12 hours per day. Flexibility is required, as there may occasionally be a need to work on a Saturday or Sunday; in these instances, a weekday day off will be given and plenty of notice provided. The nanny will be offered excellent private accommodation, including their own bedroom, living area and bathroom.

• Confidence working as part of a wider household team.
• Experience travelling internationally with families.
• Comfortable around dogs, as the family have two much-loved collies.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Strong, checkable references.
