Nanny
A lovely, warm family with three children is looking for a fun, energetic and proactive nanny to join their family on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys the outdoors, likes keeping children active and engaged, and would love a position offering shorter afternoon hours during term time and a four-day working week.
The two older children are sporty and active, while the youngest is just about to start Kindergarten in September for three days per week.
The family would love to find a nanny who is caring and positive, but also confident taking initiative – someone who will plan activities, encourage time outdoors and become a trusted part of family life.
The family live a lovely country lifestyle and have a pony, so this could particularly suit someone who enjoys horses, animals and the outdoors. They also have a small Norfolk Terrier, and the nanny would be asked to help with dog walks.
The Role
Alongside caring for the children, responsibilities will include:
Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings
Supporting homework and school routines
Preparing healthy meals and batch cooking for the children
Keeping on top of usual child-related nanny duties
Helping to keep the children active and outdoors
Walking the family’s Norfolk Terrier
Hours
Term time: Monday–Thursday, 12pm–7:30pm. An earlier start may occasionally be required when both parents are travelling for work.
School holidays – approximately 12 weeks per year: Monday–Thursday, 8am–6:30pm
Some additional babysitting would be appreciated, alongside flexibility to travel with the family for up to one week per year. Annual leave will need to coordinate with the family’s holiday dates. There is the option to live in from Monday to Thursday, with a private en suite bedroom available. A separate cottage in the village may also become available from January.
