Governess-Governor
A prestigious international family is seeking an exceptional female STEM Tutor to provide long-term academic support to three daughters, primarily focusing on their Grade 10 daughter, with additional support for their Grade 8 and Grade 3 sisters when required.
This is a retained, long-term salaried appointment rather than an hourly, daily or ad-hoc tutoring position. The successful candidate will provide continuity across online schooling, in-person tuition and periods of international travel.
THE STUDENTS
The family has three daughters currently studying at:
Grade 10 — primary focus
Grade 8
Grade 3
The children attend accredited American online schools, including Dwight Global Online School and Laurel Springs School.
The Tutor will complement the schools' established teaching and curricula, rather than replace them. The role combines subject-specialist teaching with academic oversight, mentoring, organization and continuity.
The family divides its time between Madrid, the Maldives and other international destinations. Their lifestyle is highly international, and travel plans and daily schedules may vary throughout the year.
The household is private, high-profile and supported by a professional team. The successful candidate must therefore be discreet, adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively within a well-managed private household.
The successful candidate must be able to teach all three of the following confidently at Grade 10 level and above:
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Additional expertise in Biology, Coding, Engineering, Technology or broader Science would be advantageous.
