Stanton Miller Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Housekeeper to join the established team within a large, fully staffed private residence of approximately 450 sqm with six bedrooms.

This is a cleaning-focused position for someone who takes enormous pride in maintaining a luxury home to an immaculate, pristine standard, with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine understanding of five-star service.

Hours: 9:00am–3:00pm
Contract: Fixed term to 31 July 2027
Start: ASAP
Salary: Competitive / dependent on experience
Location / Days: To be confirmed

Importantly, laundry and wardrobe management are already covered by another member of staff and are not part of this position.

The Role
Daily hands-on cleaning throughout the residence to an exceptional standard
Maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms and family areas
Detailed and deep cleaning as required
Ensuring every room is consistently immaculate and beautifully presented
Caring appropriately for high-quality furnishings, finishes and household items
Monitoring cleaning products and household supplies and reporting requirements
Identifying and reporting maintenance or household issues
Working collaboratively with the Head of Household and wider household team
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with previous private household or luxury hospitality housekeeping experience and an excellent knowledge of high-standard cleaning methods and products.

You will be meticulous, efficient and naturally detail-oriented, as well as discreet, trustworthy, reliable and professional. You must be comfortable working as part of a larger established household team and confident caring for luxury finishes, furnishings and household items.

Excellent, fully checkable references are essential.

The existing household team includes a Head of Household, Laundry & Wardrobe Manager, two nannies and security.

Candidates must be UK-based with the legal right to work in the UK.
