A short-term Maternity Nurse position near Dublin supporting first-time parents with their newborn over the Christmas and New Year period.

Job Summary

First-time parents based near Dublin are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them as they settle in at home with their newborn following a planned C-section. Mum is hoping to breastfeed and would appreciate knowledgeable support with feeding, alongside plenty of opportunity to rest and recover. As first-time parents, they would also value gentle guidance and reassurance with all aspects of newborn care. They are hoping to find someone experienced who is warm, loving and friendly, and who will bring a calm and reassuring presence into the home during those first couple of weeks. covering the Christmas and New Year period. Additional rates will apply for the relevant bank holidays.

Job Specification
• Providing 24-hour care and support for the newborn
• Supporting Mum with rest and recovery following her C-section
• Providing breastfeeding support and guidance
• Supporting feeding, sleep and settling
• Offering practical guidance with all aspects of newborn care
• Helping the parents build confidence with their baby
• Undertaking all nursery duties
