Role: Senior Housekeeper / Household Assistant
Salary: £60,000 gross per annum, negotiable depending on experience
Location: Belgravia, London, with extensive international travel
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm, with occasional weekends

Job Description
We require an experienced Senior Housekeeper / Household Assistant for a private household based in Belgravia, London. The role is primarily London-based and live-out, with extensive travel to the family’s residences in Switzerland and Monaco, as well as other destinations from time to time.

The role and expected standards remain consistent across all residences, and travel is required to ensure the same high level of service is maintained wherever the family is in residence.

This is a senior but very hands-on position within a small private household. The successful candidate will combine exceptional housekeeping and wardrobe-management skills with a practical, flexible approach to general household support.

Wardrobe management is a core part of this position, with responsibility for organising, maintaining and caring for the female Principal’s wardrobe to the highest standard, including couture, luxury clothing and delicate fabrics. General housekeeping duties will be carried out to an equally high standard, with appropriate care and attention given to all household items, furnishings and finishes.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a high-standard private household, with particularly strong experience in wardrobe management, housekeeping and laundry, together with the ability to provide practical household and administrative support.

You will be highly organised, discreet and genuinely hands-on, with exceptional attention to detail and a flexible, “no task is too small” approach. You should be confident caring for luxury clothing, couture and delicate fabrics as well as fine household items and finishes.

The successful candidate will work closely with and report to the relevant Property Manager / Residential Chief of Staff, depending on location, and will be expected to maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.


Candidate Requirements
Previous experience working as a Housekeeper / Senior Housekeeper within a private household
Strong wardrobe management and laundry experience, including the care of couture and delicate fabrics
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Fluent English essential, with French an advantage
Valid driving licence
Pet friendly
Right to work in the UK
Eligibility to travel extensively in Europe
Fluent English
