A warm, easygoing family relocating from London to the countryside is looking for a nanny, mainly to care for their twin daughters aged 2, their brothers aged 5 & 7 are at school a short drive from home.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic, and caring, able to provide a nurturing environment for the younger children while bringing plenty of energy and fun for the older boys. The family is looking for someone who will chat away with the children, encourage homework, and give the girls plenty of cuddles. Personality fit is key. The family describe themselves as warm, cosy, and easygoing, and are looking for a nanny who is confident taking overall responsibility for the children's care, routines, and development.

The role:
Main care will be for the girls during the day. During school holidays, this extends to some care of the boys, alongside clubs, grandparents and other support.
Having had a nanny before, the family is happy to leave day to day decision making around food, playdates and activities to the nanny. They like to be aligned on bigger picture values, such as instilling manners and encouraging independence, but they do not micromanage. When working from home, they stay in their own office and give the nanny space to run the household routine.
One afternoon a week will be an early finish at about 1pm possibly either a Tuesday or Thursday to be agreed in advance

Duties include:
Morning routine and getting the boys ready for school
School runs 1 - 2 days a week
Supporting homework
Planning engaging activities for the girls, including classes, playgroups, and playdates
Preparing healthy meals for the children
Children's laundry
Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas

Accommodation:
Live-in, with a private bedroom, bathroom and sitting room and kitchenette.
