A lovely family based in W10 is looking for an experienced, warm and highly organised nanny to join them on a long-term basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and would like to become a trusted and important part of family life.
The Role
The successful candidate will primarily care for a two-year-old child, creating a happy, stimulating and nurturing environment throughout the day. The family are particularly interested in someone who is familiar with the Montessori philosophy and can incorporate its principles naturally into everyday activities and play.
The nanny will be responsible for organising age-appropriate activities, arranging playdates and taking the child to local classes, parks, outings and other activities. They will support their development and independence while helping them reach new educational and developmental milestones.
The role will also include cooking healthy, family-friendly meals for the whole family, as well as keeping the child's belongings, bedroom and toys organised and maintaining a tidy and well-run home.
Responsibilities
Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for a two-year-old
Following and incorporating Montessori principles into daily life
Planning creative, educational and age-appropriate activities
Organising playdates and outings
Taking the child to classes, parks and local activities
Supporting developmental and educational milestones
Preparing healthy, nutritious family meals
Keeping the child's bedroom, clothes and toys organised
Helping to maintain tidy and organised main living areas
Supporting general household routines and tidying
Working proactively and independently without needing constant direction
Being happy to stay overnight when both parents are travelling
Travelling with the family approximately 4–5 times per year, mainly within Europe and to Lebanon
Being adaptable as the family's needs evolve, including the possibility of a second child in the future

The family are looking for someone who is:

Experienced with toddlers and passionate about childcare
Familiar with Montessori education and philosophy
Highly organised, efficient and proactive
Naturally tidy with excellent attention to detail
A confident family cook
Emotionally mature and calm
Reliable, discreet and respectful of family privacy
Flexible and adaptable
Confident working independently and using their initiative
A good communicator with excellent spoken English
First-aid trained with relevant childcare qualifications/certifications
Happy to travel and stay overnight when required
