Nanny
A warm and welcoming family in rural South Oxfordshire are seeking an experienced, nurturing Daily Nanny to care for their 1 and 3 year old children in a long-term position.
Job Summary:
This is a lovely opportunity for a professional Nanny who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to become a trusted part of a family. The role is sole care, with the parents both working full time and Dad commuting to London. The family are looking for someone kind, patient and engaging who will support the children's development while providing a calm and happy routine.
The family live in a home in a rural village in South Oxfordshire, with a large family garden and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
The successful nanny will primarily care for the 1 year old during the day, with responsibility for the 3 year old before and after preschool on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The parents will manage the preschool drop-off and collection on the other days.
The family are looking for someone who is confident caring for babies and toddlers and who enjoys creating a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Most importantly, the family are looking for someone they can completely trust to care for their children and who will build a genuine, long-term relationship with the family.
Days and Hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday – 9am to 5pm
Wednesday and Thursdays – 7am to 7pm
Job specification:
• Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for both children
• Caring for the 1 year old throughout the day including changing nappies, nursery duties
• Preschool drop-off and collection for the 3 year old on Wednesdays and Thursdays – 13 min drive from the home.
• Planning age appropriate activities and play
• Supporting the children's development and milestones
• Taking the children for walks and outings
• Organising creative and stimulating activities
• Putting the children down for naps and maintaining their routines
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Changing nappies and supporting the children's day-to-day needs
• Providing a calm and consistent approach to routines and boundaries
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas neat and organised
Candidate specification:
• Experienced caring for babies and toddlers
• Warm, nurturing, patient and loving
• Confident and capable of taking sole charge
• Reliable, trustworthy and well mannered
• Fun, engaging and genuinely enjoys playing with children
• Interested in supporting children's development
• Calm and patient when managing the demands of young children
• A confident and safe driver with a clean driving licence – automatic car provided for while on duty
• Comfortable working in a rural family home
• Happy to become a trusted and valued member of the household
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
