Salary: €60,000 per annum, DOE, plus annual bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Status: Live-in
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and nurturing Nanny to join a welcoming private family based in the countryside near Hanover, Germany, from October. The family are seeking a caring and professional individual to take responsibility for their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and become a trusted, long-term part of their household.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for all aspects of the child's day-to-day care, creating a happy, engaging and well-structured routine. Duties will include preparing healthy meals and snacks, organising age-appropriate activities and outings, supporting developmental milestones and ensuring her belongings and spaces remain organised. The family follow a gentle parenting approach and are particularly keen to find someone who is compassionate and nurturing while also confident in establishing appropriate boundaries and encouraging independence.
The position is approximately 40 hours per week across five days, with flexibility required depending on the family's schedule. Previous experience caring for children of a similar age within a private family environment is important, alongside fluent English and a warm, adaptable approach.
Due to the countryside location, a driving licence is highly desirable, and a car will be provided for use as part of the role. Excellent accommodation is available in the form of a separate two-bedroom apartment located on the family's property. The family is happy to provide a relocation package and would be able to offer a working visa for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree.
