A lovely American family are relocating to the UK and are looking for a warm, engaging and proactive nanny to support their 15-month-old daughter during their first few weeks in London.

The family will initially be based in Battersea for approximately one month while they settle into life in the UK. There is the possibility that the role may be extended beyond this period, although the family expect to relocate to another area of London once they have secured their permanent home.

As this is the family's first experience living in the UK, they are looking for someone who can help make the transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible for their daughter by introducing her to local activities, parks, playgroups and the surrounding community.

- Provide warm, attentive and engaging care for a happy 15-month-old little girl.
- Plan enjoyable, age-appropriate outings including local parks, soft play, libraries, toddler groups and other suitable activities.
- Encourage the child's development through play, exploration and everyday experiences.
- Support the family as they settle into their new surroundings, helping their daughter build confidence and familiarity with her new environment.
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the child when required.
- Maintain the child's routine, including naps where appropriate.
- Undertake all nursery duties relating to the child, ensuring her play areas and belongings remain clean and organised.
- Build a positive, trusting relationship with both the child and her parents.

The Ideal Candidate

The family are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience caring for toddlers of a similar age.
Is warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys supporting young children's development.
Is confident planning fun, stimulating outings and activities.
Has good knowledge of local children's activities or is enthusiastic about exploring the local area.
Is reliable, organised and proactive.
Is happy to support a family who are new to the UK and help make their transition as smooth as possible.
Is flexible, as there may be an opportunity for the role to continue once the family move into their permanent London home.

Start date approx 20th August but can wait longer for the right candidate.
