Daily Nanny in Kensington
• Location: London, Kensington + international travel

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30am–7:30pm + extra hours for babysitting and travelling

A lovely opportunity for an experienced and professional Full-Time Nanny to join a private family and take primary responsibility for the care of their 4-year-old child.
The family is looking for a warm, energetic and highly capable nanny who can provide a combination of nurturing care, structure and stimulating activities, while supporting the child’s continued development and growing independence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the child’s day, creating an engaging and well-balanced routine encompassing education, play, activities, outings and social opportunities.
The nanny will take primary responsibility for the child’s day-to-day care and will work collaboratively with the parents and other members of the household.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for the 4-year-old
• Planning and organising a stimulating and structured weekly routine
• Arranging age-appropriate educational, creative and developmental activities
• Organising outings, classes, playdates and other social activities
• Supporting the child’s educational development and key milestones
• Encouraging independence, confidence and good manners
• Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks
• Managing the child’s daily routine, including mornings, mealtimes and bedtime preparation
• Taking care of all nursery duties relating to the child
• Keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas, belongings and wardrobe organised
• Maintaining a consistent approach to boundaries and routines
• Communicating openly with the parents regarding the child’s development, routine and wellbeing
• Working harmoniously with other household staff
• Supporting the family as required with occasional flexibility around the child’s schedule
• The ideal candidate will be proactive rather than reactive, naturally taking ownership of the child’s routine and always thinking ahead about how to make their days enjoyable, productive and developmentally appropriate.

Candidate Profile
• The ideal candidate will be a mature, experienced and professional nanny with 10+ years of childcare experience, ideally including significant experience with children of a similar age.
• The family is particularly interested in candidates who have:
• Extensive private household nanny experience
• Previous experience caring for children aged 3–5
• A strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• A proactive, energetic and engaging approach
• Confidence creating a stimulating weekly programme of activities and outings
• A warm, nurturing and naturally positive personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Discretion and an understanding of private family life
• Exceptional reliability, honesty and professionalism
• The ability to work collaboratively with parents and other household staff
