Live-Out Baby Nanny – Vienna, Austria
A warm and welcoming single-parent family in Vienna is seeking an exceptional native German-speaking nanny to care for their baby daughter currently aged 3 weeks with a September/October 2026 start.

This is a long-term, full-time position within a cultured, artistic household where classical music, beautiful manners, etiquette and professionalism are highly valued. Whilst the home has refined standards, the mother is warm, approachable and down-to-earth.

She is looking for a nanny who combines genuine warmth with impeccable discretion, professionalism and a childcare approach inspired by Norland values.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Native German speaker (essential). Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as German nationals living in Milan. Bilingual German-speaking candidates from elsewhere are also encouraged to apply.
• A minimum of 5 years' professional nanny experience.
• Extensive newborn and infant experience.
• Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Police Check (or equivalent).
• Highly organised, discreet and polished, with a Norland-style approach or similar professional background.

Duties Include:
• Sole-charge care of one infant.
• Establishing feeding, sleep and daily routines.
• Supporting developmental milestones.
• Bottle preparation, weaning support and nursery organisation.
• Baby wardrobe and inventory management.
• Preparing simple meals for the child from weaning.
• Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

Package:
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–1:00pm, plus two overnight shifts per week (6:00pm–8:00am).
• €60,000 gross per annum (paid over 15 salaries).
• Five weeks' paid holiday.
• Private en-suite accommodation for overnight shifts.
• Public transport pass provided.
• Assistance with finding suitable accommodation in Vienna.
