# Nanny / Family Support Role – Twickenham

We are a warm, friendly and busy Irish family living in Twickenham, looking for an experienced, reliable and caring nanny to become an important part of our family.

We have four wonderful children—three girls and one boy—aged 9, 7, 6 and 4. From September, all four children will attend the same school, just a short 400-metre walk from our home, making school collections straightforward.

Both parents work full-time in demanding roles, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is happy to help keep family life running smoothly. We hope to find someone looking for a long-term role who will become part of the family.

## Hours

Approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility to agree the right working pattern.

Our current arrangement is 13:00pm to 19:00pm, Monday to Friday but we are happy to run this later. Ideally, we'd also like one agreed evening each week and some help on a Saturday, although we're happy to discuss the exact hours with the right person.

## The role

The role is a mixture of childcare and family support, including:

* Collecting the children from school
* Looking after them after school
* Driving them to activities such as gymnastics, dance and sports
* Preparing and serving simple, healthy evening meals
* Helping with family laundry
* Keeping the children's bedrooms, play areas and school items organised
* General household tidying to help the home run smoothly
* Helping with the day-to-day practical organisation of busy family life

We usually plan five straightforward family meals each week, often one-pot dishes or simple family favourites, with enough left for Mum and Dad to enjoy later in the evening.

## We're looking for someone who is

* Warm, kind and genuinely enjoys spending time with children
* Organised, dependable and proactive
* Confident caring for four children of different ages
* Happy preparing simple family meals
* Comfortable helping keep a busy family home organised
* A confident driver with a full, clean driving licence (we'll add you to our insurance)
* Happy driving the children to activities
* A dog lover who wouldn't mind helping with the occasional walk once our new family dog arrives

Previous nanny or childcare experience is essential, together with excellent references.

## Salary

Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience, responsibilities and agreed hours.
