A Night Maternity Nurse role supporting the parents of an 8-week-old baby with overnight care and guidance in Kensington, London.

This role would suit an experienced Night Maternity Nurse who enjoys supporting families through the early weeks with practical guidance, reassurance and evidence-based advice. A family are seeking an experienced Night Maternity Nurse to support them with their eight-week-old baby. They are looking for a warm, knowledgeable professional who can provide expert overnight care whilst helping the parents navigate this next stage with confidence. The family would particularly value someone who can offer guidance on encouraging healthy sleep habits and helping their baby begin to differentiate between day and night, using a gentle, developmentally appropriate approach. They are looking for a supportive Maternity Nurse who is happy to answer questions, offer reassurance and work alongside the parents to build confidence.

Job Specification
• Providing overnight care for an 8-week-old baby
• Supporting healthy sleep habits and day/night differentiation
• Monitoring the baby's wellbeing throughout the night
• Providing practical guidance and reassurance to the parents
• Undertaking all nursery duties during working hours

Candidate Specification
• Strong newborn experience
• Knowledgeable about infant sleep and newborn development
• Warm, supportive and reassuring
• Calm and confident
• Excellent communication skills
