A 24-hour Maternity Nurse role supporting a family with their 4-week-old baby in a beautiful rural setting near Stow-on-the-Wold.


This role would suit an experienced Maternity Nurse who enjoys supporting families during the newborn period whilst providing practical guidance, reassurance and expert baby care.
A family living on a working farm near Stow-on-the-Wold are seeking an experienced 24-hour Maternity Nurse to support them for one week with their four-week-old baby. As this is their second child, they are looking for an experienced professional who can provide an extra pair of capable hands whilst helping maintain routines and supporting the family through a busy period.
The role will focus primarily on the baby, although the family would appreciate someone who is happy to lend a hand with their older child if needed. They are looking for a calm, practical Maternity Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively with parents and is happy to adapt to family life in a relaxed, rural environment. The family have two dogs, so applicants should be comfortable working in a home with pets.

Job Specification
• Providing 24-hour care for a four-week-old baby
• Supporting feeding, routines and newborn care
• Monitoring the baby's wellbeing and development
• Undertaking all nursery duties
• Offering practical support to the family
• Assisting with the older sibling when required

Candidate Specification
• Strong newborn experience
• Calm, practical and reassuring
• Happy working collaboratively with parents
• Flexible and happy to muck in where needed
• Comfortable working in a rural environment
• Driver preferred
• Comfortable around dogs
