Temporary role in Harpenden to start 17th August (or as close to) until 23rd October minimum.
Monday to Thursday 1-7pm but 8am-7pm for August dates.
Main care is for 9 year old boy and 15 year old boy with additional needs. There are also 2 x 15 year old girls. Large and happy blended family! The teens go back and forth to their other parent as does the 9 year old every other week so days will be varied. £20gph. Own car needed. Teens get themselves home from school and SEN child has a taxi. So just the youngest to collect. Nanny duties only- largely laundry, meals and reminding of homework.
The boy with SEN has development delay and is a gentle giant. He needs supervision for showering, crossing roads etc but at home is largely self sufficient. His siblings are wonderful with him and are always happy to support with understanding what he is saying etc.
Although 4 days is ideal, the family can manage with just a Monday and Tuesday if necessary.
The role is to cover their well loved permanent nanny who has had to take some time off- they are hoping she will be back by end October but the role could be extended if it suits the temporary nanny's availability.
