Job Title: Nanny Housekeeper Job

Salary: £23–£25 gross per hour

Child: First baby, 2 weeks old

Working Pattern: 3 weekdays per week - flexible, 8–10 hours per day

Contract Length: 3–6 months

A temporary Nanny Housekeeper role supporting the care of a newborn baby whilst providing light housekeeping and meal preparation within a family home in Chelsfield, Kent.



This role would suit an experienced Nanny Housekeeper who is confident caring for a young baby whilst helping a family settle into life with their first child. The successful candidate will be practical, organised and happy to support wherever needed, providing both childcare and household assistance. A first-time family are seeking a Nanny Housekeeper to support them following the arrival of their baby. Mum is recovering well following a caesarean section, and with family support soon coming to an end, they are looking for someone who can help ease the transition over the coming months. The role combines confident care of a young baby with light housekeeping and meal preparation, allowing Mum time to rest whilst knowing both her baby and home are well looked after. The family are looking for someone who is happy to use their initiative, naturally spotting where an extra pair of hands would make a difference whilst respecting the family's routines and preferences.



Job Specification
• Assisting with the care of a young baby
• Supporting feeding and the baby's daily routine
• Preparing nutritious family meals and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping, including tidying, hoovering and keeping communal areas organised
• Nursery duties
• Supporting Mum during her recovery
• Helping the household run smoothly day to day

Candidate Specification:
• Previous experience caring for newborn or young babies
• Confident combining childcare with housekeeping responsibilities
• Happy to prepare family meals
• Proactive and happy to muck in where needed
• Flexible, reliable and organised
• Warm, professional and easy to have around
• Excellent checkable references
