The Role

The family is seeking a live-in Travelling Teacher & Nanny to guide the children's education and care during the parents' working hours, approximately Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging educational experiences, supporting each child's individual learning journey, and encouraging confidence, independence, kindness, and curiosity.

This role combines teaching, childcare, travel, outdoor adventure, and cultural exploration.
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver an engaging homeschool curriculum for three children of different ages.

Foster a love of learning through creativity, nature, books, travel, and real-world experiences.

Support one of the children, who is neurodivergent, with patience, understanding, and confidence-building strategies.

Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

Drive the children safely to sports, activities, appointments, and outings.

Supervise swimming, beach activities, and outdoor adventures with a strong focus on water safety.

Organise educational outings including museums, libraries, aquariums, parks, and cultural experiences.

Maintain the children's routines while balancing flexibility during travel.

Keep the children's learning spaces, bedrooms, and belongings organised.

Travel extensively with the family throughout the Bahamas, Europe, and other destinations.

Communicate openly with the parents regarding each child's progress, routines, and wellbeing.

Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone who is:

A qualified Primary or Early Years teacher, or an experienced Governess.

Fluent in English.

Conversational or fluent in French is preferred.

An excellent swimmer and confident supervising children around water.

A safe, confident driver with a clean driving record.

Passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious food for children.

Experienced working with neurodivergent children, ideally including autism or related learning differences.

Calm, patient, emotionally intelligent, and positive.

Organised and able to thrive in a fast-paced family environment.

Active, energetic, and genuinely loves the outdoors.

Comfortable travelling internationally for extended periods.

Flexible, adaptable, and excited by new adventures.

Warm, playful, and able to build meaningful relationships with children.
