Job Summary:
A lovely family are looking for a proactive, nurturing and engaging Nanny to become a valued part of their household. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career nanny who is passionate about early years development and enjoys creating fun, stimulating experiences that encourage children to thrive. Whilst the role will initially involve only a small amount of sole charge care as Mum transitions back to work, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the twins' daily routine and development.

This is a primarily childcare focused role caring for the family's twin boys. The nanny will be responsible for planning engaging, age appropriate activities, encouraging the children's development and supporting them as they reach important milestones.

The family are keen for the twins to experience a wide variety of activities as they grow, allowing them to discover their interests and build confidence. They have recently begun swimming classes and are starting to explore suitable classes and activities, with Mum happy to assist when needed.

Although the position is predominantly shared care, there will be sole-charge responsibility for a few hours a couple of times each week once Mum returns to work.

The family also enjoy travelling and would love a nanny who is happy to accompany them on trips of up to two to three weeks, approximately six times per year.

Salary:
Live in - £45,000 to £50,000 gross per annum
Live out - £50,000 to £55,000 gross per annum

Job specification:
• Providing attentive and nurturing care for the twins
• Planning stimulating, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting the children to achieve developmental milestones
• Taking the children on outings, walks and to classes and activities
• Assisting with swimming classes and future activities
• Preparing nutritious meals and batch cooking for the children
• Changing nappies and following established routines
• Children's laundry
• Keeping the children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings clean and organized
• Nursery duties
• Occasionally preparing meals for the parents would be appreciated
• Letting the family dogs into the garden if Mum is away (no pet care duties required)

Candidate specification:
• Have previous experience caring for babies, ideally including twins
• Be passionate about early years development and creating engaging learning opportunities
• Be confident preparing healthy meals for young children
• Be proactive in researching and suggesting local classes and activities
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence (automatic car provided)
• Be happy to travel with the family for up to two to three weeks at a time, approximately six times per year
• Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English
• An additional language would be advantageous
• Be creative, energetic and enjoy incorporating music, sensory play and imaginative activities into the children's day
• Be organised, reliable and able to work independently while supporting the family
