A long-term, full-time live-in nanny role caring for 6 month old baby, on a sole-charge basis, suited to an upbeat, proactive nanny seeking a position where they can remain with a family for many years.

Job Summary
This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for an experienced and energetic nanny to join a warm family and take sole-charge responsibility for their 6 month old. The family are looking for a nanny who will become a trusted and valued part of their household, providing consistency, security and engaging care as their child grows. Mum and Dad would ideally like the successful nanny to remain with them for several years, including when their child may begin nursery from around the age of two.
Although Dad occasionally works from home, the nanny will have sole-charge responsibility during working hours and should be confident planning each day independently. The family would love to find someone outgoing, upbeat and fun-loving who enjoys getting out and about. The nanny should be proactive in researching and arranging local playgroups, classes, parks, playdates and other age-appropriate social and developmental activities. This is a live-in position working approximately 12 hours per day, five days per week. Weekend work is not normally required, although the family would be happy for the nanny to remain in the accommodation over the weekend if they wished.
The family can sometimes make plans at short notice, so a flexible and accommodating approach will be important. Christmas and bank holidays will ordinarily be given as time off.

Candidate Requirements
• Previous professional nanny experience with children of a similar age
• A genuine interest in child development and learning through play
• Outgoing, upbeat and fun-loving personality
• Proactive and confident planning activities independently
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Reliable, organised and committed to a long-term position
• Confident working on a sole-charge basis
• Excellent communication skills
• Driver preferred but not essential
