This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Live-in Nanny to join a professional family as they transition into the next exciting stage of their child's development. Caring for their 6-month-old baby, the role offers the chance to build a long-term relationship with the family, who hope their nanny will remain with them for many years. Both parents work full-time, although dad occasionally works from home, so the role will primarily be sole charge. The family are looking for an upbeat, proactive nanny who enjoys planning stimulating days, encouraging developmental milestones and making the most of local baby groups, parks, classes and social activities. They are already thinking ahead to nursery at around two years old and would love a nanny who is happy to continue supporting the family beyond this transition. The family are flexible, valuing a nanny who becomes a trusted part of family life. There may occasionally be a requirement for babysitting and proxy parenting, with expectations around this to be discussed fully at interview and agreed in advance. The family are also planning to welcome a dog or cat in the future, so candidates should be comfortable around pets. Spanish, French or Danish speaker would be a bonus!

Job Specification
• Providing sole-charge care for a 6-month-old child
• Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and play
• Attending baby groups, classes, parks and outings
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Managing all nursery duties related to the child
• Occasional evening babysitting by agreement
• Supporting the family with occasional travel if required

Candidate Specification
• Experienced nanny with excellent baby and toddler experience
• Passionate about child development and early learning
• Proactive, energetic and fun-loving

• Happy working on a long-term basis
• Driver desirable but not essential
• Comfortable around pets.
