A family relocating to southeast London (most likely East Dulwich SE22) is looking for an experienced, warm and reliable nanny to care for their boy/girl twins, who will have just turned one. Starting 1 December.

The family is looking for a calm, confident full time daily nanny with recent experience caring for babies and toddlers. Experience with twins or close-age siblings is desirable, as the nanny will have sole charge of both children. It will be a 48 hour week, 8am-6pm Mon-Thurs and a slightly shorter day on Friday.

They would like someone who will create a secure and stable environment for the children, responding warmly to their emotional and physical needs. They are looking for a nanny who will foster the children’s curiosity and independence while maintaining consistent routines.

They would also love someone active, outdoorsy and creative who enjoys taking the children to parks, playgroups and on nature-based outings, as well as planning fun activities at home.

The role includes planning and preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children, so an interest in food and cooking would be a real bonus. Other responsibilities include doing the children’s laundry, keeping play and eating areas tidy, and taking the twins to appointments. Light family laundry, food preparation or shopping may occasionally be requested.

The ideal nanny will be:

• Warm, patient, reliable and proactive
• Enthusiastic about outdoor activities and cooking
• Interested in building a long-term relationship with a family
• Paediatric first-aid trained
• DBS checked, with excellent references
