A family based in Pimlico is seeking a highly organised, proactive and positive live-in nanny to care for their twin girls, aged 7. This is a busy, sole-charge role with significant involvement in the children’s school life, activities and day-to-day routine. A separate flat is provided.
Working Hours, Travel and Accommodation
• Monday to Friday, 12 hours per day
• Two nights of babysitting per week
• Occasional proxy parenting, paid extra
• Travel with the family, including a winter ski trip, Easter in Italy and summer travel

Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, engaging and confident care for twin girls aged 7
• Manage the children’s daily routine, school schedule and after-school activities
• Support homework and educational development
• Plan and prepare healthy meals for the children
• Take responsibility for all nursery duties, including the children’s laundry
• Organise playdates and support the children’s busy social lives
• Encourage and participate in activities including sport, music, dancing, cooking, arts and crafts
• Work confidently in a sole-charge capacity while both parents are working
• Take initiative and remain one step ahead in a fast-paced household
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience caring for school-aged children is essential
• Educated and confident supporting homework
• Highly organised, proactive and able to anticipate the family’s needs
• Active, approachable and energetic
• Warm, happy and positive disposition
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Driver essential; a car is provided during working hours
Salary
£50,000 to £60,000 gross per year, plus an annual bonus.
